A Chinese Handwoven Bag Workshop, Working With Global Brands

A single hand-woven bag — its fibers, its makers, the rhythm of the workshop — decides what it ultimately becomes. What NOLVA aims to be is a workshop that can be written into a brand's provenance story.

From a single fiber, a workshop begins.

NOLVA began with a simple observation: demand for natural-material hand-woven bags in European and American markets continues to grow, yet truly stable suppliers that can deliver consistent output, a unified style, and are willing to refine each piece alongside small-batch brands are rare.

What we set out to build is a workshop that can be written into a product's story. From the very first prototype, we have held to one principle: every bag can tell the buyer what fibers it uses, who wove it, and why it takes this structure.

Fibers define the feel. Artisans define the structure. The rhythm of the workshop defines everything.

01

Natural Materials

Prioritizing raffia, natural cotton cord, and biodegradable fibers — so each piece stands firm on both texture and sustainability.

02

Slow & Meticulous Craft

Never trading structure or hand-feel for speed — every bag is woven, shaped, and dried at the traditional rhythm set by the craft.

03

Fair Trade

A stable piece-rate and training system. The workshop pays by the hour and distributes seasonal bonuses, so artisans are willing to make this work a long-term career.

04

B2B Agility

Understanding the rhythm of brands — from sampling and color revision to bulk replenishment — building a predictable, traceable delivery chain.

Founder's Note

We didn't build the workshop as a factory — we built it as a book you can leaf through. Every bag is the footnote on that page.
